Very well written and easy to understand. The author seems to have PPC down to an art form. A very good book for those like me with little knowledge on the subject looking to make a lot of money online. Let's hope it works!

I launched my own web site a couple of years ago and have just begun using pay-per-click advertising to generate traffic to my site where I sell affiliate products. After reading Michael's first book (SEO Made Simple: Strategies For Dominating The World's Largest Search Engine (Volume 1)) on search engine optimization, I saw that he published this book on PPC and got really excited. The first book was awesome, cutting through the clutter of all of those other SEO books that had lots of theory but offered little practical information. Just like his first book, PPC Made Simple offers specific information that can get you up and running with profitable PPC campaigns in no time at all.

The style of PPC Made Simple is very straight forward and Michael tells you what to do, how to do it, and why it should be done. This is great for people like me that can easily get overwhelmed when trying to figure out how to apply online marketing. Being new to PPC, this book gave me just enough background and plenty of techniques that I applied immediately after opening my AdWords account.

The book starts with an explanation of setting up a Google AdWords account and a new approach to doing keyword research. What I learned in the first few chapters helped me to eliminate days of unproductive keyword research and find the terms that had a much higher probably of conversion.

After choosing your keywords, Michael shows you how to set up and track your campaigns. He reveals powerful bidding strategies, tips for writing ads that generate high click through rates and conversions. I made my first affiliate sale through Google AdWords within 6 hours of implementing the suggestions in PPC Made Simple. I know I'm just getting started but many of these techniques seem to be the result of many years of actual PPC experience and have already saved me a lot of time - and even generated profitable revenue.

The book goes into great detail about setting up individual campaigns properly, developing Adgroups, and proper bidding strategies. This was really great because I didn't know what I should be spending on particular bids or campaigns. Michael provides milestones that indicate when you should raise or lower bids and even when you should turn off your particular campaigns.

Good advice is given on tracking. I know that proper tracking of PPC campaigns could be a book by itself but I would like to have seen a little more information there. All that being said, the information provided on tracking was adequate for me. It tells you what tracking code to place on all of your conversion pages to be able to determine which keywords actually generated a sale. Once I saw a few sales come through, I was able to raise my bid on a particular search term which was generating the traffic. Now I'm getting even more sales from the keywords I identified.

This book is great for anyone looking to make money with PPC advertising or drive traffic to their Web site. There are some advanced techniques as well and the book is truly an easy read. I like Michael's style of writing and the information provided is excellent. I'd recommend this book to anyone who wants to start making money online with Google AdWords.
