The Expert Guide to Pay Per Click Marketing
Product Description
PPC stands for Pay-Per-Click – a popular advertising technique on the Internet. Found on websites, advertising networks, and especially on search engines, PPC advertising involves sponsored links that are typically in the form of text ads. These are usually
placed close to search results, where an advertiser pays a particular amount to visitors who click on these links or banners and land on the advertiser’s web page.

It starts with the very basic concepts, but that’s ok — if you don’t have any experience with PPC, this obviousness may certainly save you a little time and money. Book goes ok up to the point it talks about bid management tools, that are supposed to help the advertiser spend his/her money wisely. So far, so good. But then, when you expect it to describe some of theses tools, author shamelessly introduces you to a certain “PPC Appraisal Program”, where you may rent your computer time to help a network of ‘thieves’ (yes, that’s what they should be called) to automatically click on other people’s links and earn some money out of thin air. He even gives you a referral number because, working as a piramid, the program allows one to take a cut on part of the fee that people you introduce to the program will generate, “up to the fourth level”. Not only author profits from the book sales, he also induces you to adhere to something I suspect is illegal in the US (at least in my country, it is). At least he alerted me to the fact that someone may be stealing my money, without my knowledge. Amazon, wake up! It’s time for you to take a look at your vetting process. This book should never be accepted for sale at the Kindle store. Simple enough.
